Updated regularly, these foundational early child care topics bring detailed explanations and examples of implementation that will enable teachers to bring a refreshed approach to the classroom while gaining required training hours.

All trainings are live virtual trainings (onsite available upon request) to ensure the best comprehension of topics and allow for questions and clarity.

Each training comes with follow-up coaching guidance materials and certificates.

Topic Choices

(1 hour) Positive Guidance- behavior is communication, learn strategies to effectively reflect and guide individual children through their behavior and emotions. $200

(1.5 hours) Challenging Behaviors- How to identify, prioritize and improve challenging behaviors. $300

(1.5 hours) Developing a Support Plan- Understanding the importance of how to put together a support plan for any child or classroom’s challenging situations and work with the child’s support team to have the most effective impact. $300

(1 hour) Parent Teacher Conferences- Ways to give the most impactful information, set a plan, and communicate in the most effective way during the small amount of time you have. $200

(1 hour) Parent Communication/Partnering with Parents- discover the importance of working with parents to allow for the greatest developmental growth for each child. $200

(1 hour) Community Engagement- Discover what your community supports can do to aid in the developmental growth of children. $200

(1.5 hours) Lesson Planning- Where do you even start? How to plan, assess, implement and reflect on lesson plans to most effectively benefit children’s development. $300

(1 hour) Guided vs Active Play- discuss the difference between the two and the developmental effects of both- focusing on missed opportunities. $200

(1.5 hours) Working With Children With ADHD- defining ADHD, core traits, and working through any struggles together with parents/caregivers. $300

(1 hour) Classroom Management-How to set your classroom up for success by reflecting on your environment, lesson planning, and implementation. $200

(1 hour) Transitions- Planning for effective, positive transitions. $200

(1 hour) Effective Teaming- Explore the effects of working together with other teachers, parents, administrators and your community. $200

(1 hour) Time Management-How to effectively manage you time with routines and planning. $200

(2 hours) Assessments- Children, You, & your Classroom. A walk through the importance of assessments for children, you experience as a teacher and your classroom set-up using, ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaire), ASQ-SE, ITERS (Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale), ECERS (Early Childcare Environmental Rating Scale), SACERS (School Age Environmental Rating Scale), and CKC (Core Knowledge and Competencies). $400

(2 hours) CSEFL (Center on Social Emotional Foundations of Learning)- Pyramid guided training for teachers starting with Effective Workforce, Nurturing and Responsive Relationships, High Quality Supportive Environments, Targeted Social Emotional Supports, and Intensive Interventions based on CSEFL. $400

(1 hour) Fostering Resiliency- identifying strengths within children and their environments supporting those strengths with protective factors by encouraging the factors in a child’s life that help them to become successful at adapting in the face of adversity and develop social competence despite exposure to severe stress. $200

(1 hour) Building Positive Relationships- Gain an understanding of the ways we can build the best relationships with children by promoting social emotional competence. $200

(1 hour) Teaching Positive Relationships- help children gain the skills to build positive relationships through teachable moments. $200

(1.5 hours) Stress Identification & Elimination- Gain a better understanding of how to begin to prioritize stressors and build resilience. $300

(1 hour) Safe Sleep- what are my state regulations and why- when I was little, I was put to sleep on my belly? $200
